Though museums may be temporarily closing and art shows postponed or cancelled due to coronavirus, it’s important to support the art community. Western Horseman has brainstormed a list of events so Western art enthusiasts can lift each other up through online sales and awareness.

The Briscoe Western Art Museum’s Night of the Artists — sale extended through July 26.

Museum of the West and Cowboy Artists of America’s The Gathering: CAA’s Annual Western Miniatures Sale — virtual sale, email [email protected] to purchase.

National Cowboy Poetry Gathering — The event, originally scheduled for January 25 – 30 in Elko, Nevada, has been cancelled. Instead, a virtual program will take place.

Scottsdale Art Auction — rescheduled to June 13.

Trappings of Texas Exhibit and Sale — virtual sale April 16 – August 2.
