SUMMARY:Extreme Mustang Makeover
DESCRIPTION:Western Horseman is a proud sponsor of the Extreme Mustang Makeover. \nCreated and presented by the Mustang Heritage Foundation\, the purpose of the Extreme Mustang Makeover competition is to showcase the beauty\, versatility\, and trainability of American mustangs.  \nMustangs competing in these events are wild mares and geldings\, typically four to seven years old\, that have been living in BLM corrals. Approved trainers are paired with a mustang and spend approximately 100 days preparing for classes that will showcase the mustang’s new skills. At the conclusion of the event\, all mustangs are available for adoption or purchase via public competitive bid.

DESCRIPTION:Western Horseman is a proud sponsor of the Stout Ranch Rodeo. \nThe Stout Ranch Rodeo was founded in 2021 and spent its inaugural two years at the Young County Arena in Graham\, Texas. We’re excited to announce that beginning in 2023\, the rodeo has moved to the historic Cowtown Coliseum in the Fort Worth Stockyards. Top teams from across the country come each year to try their hand at one of the biggest ranch rodeo purses in the nation and a spot at the WRCA World Championship Ranch Rodeo held annually in Amarillo. \nProceeds from the event benefit the Working Cowboys Coalition – a 501(c)(3) nonprofit providing scholarships to working cowboys and their families. \nProudly sanctioned by the Working Ranch Cowboys Association.
