Pitzer Ranch broodmares and foals regularly trot from their Sandhills pasture to the breeding barn during the spring and early summer months. I visited the Nebraska ranch in 2007 to gather photos for a feature its storied horse breeding program, largely influence by Two Eyed Jack. Howard Pitzer's grandson, Jim Brinkman, and Jim's wife, Tana, have managed the famous program for decades and organize one of the top production sales in the country. This is one of the better photos I got during the two-day photo shoot.
