T.J. Roberts and his ranch gelding, Moose, are held up by ring steward Stormy Mullins before loping into Will Rogers Coliseum in Fort Worth, Texas. Roberts of Tongue River Ranch and other cowboys were making their grand entrance at the beginning of the ranch rodeo during the Fort Worth Stock Show. Taking photos in the tunnel leading into Will Rogers gives you a unique perspective. I kept thinking of how many great horses and riders have passed through before competing in the legendary coliseum built in 1936. I took this photo in 2018 while gathering material for our special stock show issue, the January 2019 edition of Western Horseman. Also, the March 2019 issue includes a feature article on Roberts and Tongue River Ranch.
