I recently stumbled across this photo of Wyoming cowboy Will Hudson. If I hadn’t shot it, I might have thought it was taken in the 1800s. But this image was shot on the ID Ranch in 2011—that’s the 21st century, not the 19th—with a digital camera. With his wooly chaps and tall crown and short-brimmed hat, Hudson, in his early 20s, keeps a vintage look. The article on the ID Ranch appeared in the May 2012 issue of Western Horseman.
