Western museums and art galleries are slowly reopening their doors to the public as states begin to lift shut-down restrictions.
Below is a list of Western museums and galleries with their open/close status. This list is ever-evolving as states continue to reopen.

American Quarter Horse Association Hall of Fame & Museum — closed to the public until further notice.
Autry Museum of the American West — closed to the public until further notice.
Buffalo Bill Center of the West — open to the public starting May 7.
The Booth Museum — The museum will reopen on Saturday, June 13 with exclusive member days from Saturday, June 13 – Friday, June 19. It will open to the general public on Saturday, June 20. Online tickets required.
Briscoe Western Art Museum — open to museum members May 21 – 22, and to the general public May 23.
Cheyenne Frontier Days Old West Museum — temporary hours for the public until further notice.
C.M. Russell Museum — The C.M. Russell Museum Store and the Russell House and Studio will reopen to the public on Thursday, June 11, with temporary hours. On Thursday, June 25, the entire museum complex will once again be open to the public.
Cowboy Arts & Gear Museum — open to the public June 2.
Desert Caballeros Western Museum — The Cowgirl Up! Sale, The Museum Store, and the Ranch Dressing are open to the public.
Eiteljorg Museum — closed to the public until further notice.
Gilcrease Museum — closed to the public until further notice.
National Cowboy Hall of Fame and Western Heritage Museum — open to the public May 18.
National Cowgirl Museum and Hall of Fame — open to the public starting June 24.
Northeastern Nevada Museum — open to the public June 2.
Phippen Museum of Western Art — opens to museum members May 29, and to the general public June 2.
ProRodeo Hall of Fame — closed to the public until further notice.
Frederic Remington Art Museum — The museum store is open to the public June 11. The museum is closed to the public until further notice.
Sid Richardson Museum — closed to the public until further notice.
Western Folklife Center — The Western Folklife Center’s Gift Shop and Wiegand Gallery with Black Box Theater is open. The Pioneer Building including business offices, Pioneer Saloon, G Three Bar Theater, and lower level restrooms, remain closed until further notice.
Western Spirit: Scottsdale’s Museum of the West — closed to the public until further notice.
