The 10th Annual Priefert Western Horseman Sunshine Classic Presented by Martin Saddlery is held annually in Wickenburg, Arizona — the “Winter Roping Capitol of the World”. The team roping started in 2016 with the intent of furthering the message that Western Horseman celebrates, encourages, and promotes the Western lifestyle throughout generations. Limited to the 40 and over age group, the Western Horseman Sunshine Classic is no stranger to the Western industry icons who return each year to rope with a community that exudes the cowboy spirit. 

When: February 5 — 6, 2026

Where: Roper Nation; Wickenburg, Arizona

Who: Our ropers travel from states such as Montana, South Dakota, Idaho, Canada, Wyoming, California, Nevada, Utah, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Texas and New Mexico!
