Saddling at Sunrise

Thomas B. Saunders saddles up on his family’s Twin V Ranch in Weatherford, Texas. For me, saddling photos are tough to capture. They can look awkward. But this is one that I like. But like a lot of photos, there is one little element I would change if I were shooting this again: I wouldn’t have left my camera bag under the hitching rail!
