Drawing from a rich heritage as a high-country stockman, Joe Taylor of Moab, Utah’s Taylor Creek Ranch has crafted an enduring line of pretty athletes.

The band of Quarter Horse mares flowed through the high mountain meadow at a long trot. So alike in color, conformation and movement were they that, at first glance, it was hard to tell them apart.
Framed by western sage and snowcapped mountains, the band was the picture of perfection-fine art on four legs.
Joe Taylor – the man behind the mares – understands the art of breeding fine horses. For more than 40 years, the Moab, Utah, native has called upon a longstanding family tradition of livestock husbandry, and an “intuitive eye” for a horse, to craft a unique line of show and ranch horses.
