Luke Branquinho is more that just a stand-out rodeo star. When he’s not on the rodeo trail he is at his home working on his family’s ranch that his grandfather started. Taking no days rest when he comes home from a rodeo, Luke hopes to one day walk in his grandfather’s footsteps and carry on the family’s ranching legacy.

Branquinho’s five titles haven’t come easy. Luke has suffered more injuries than one could count on two hands. But his intense focus is what drives him, and his sights are set on winning another world title.

This latest film by Yeti coolers showcases Branquinho for the cowboy that he is, both in the arena and out. He has made a career out of tackling steers down to the dirt but it’s his love of ranching and tradition that defines him.

You can see even more of Luke Branquinho in the June 2016 issue of Western Horseman. Editor-in-Chief Ross Hecox takes an inside look at Branquinho and why he has left the PRCA to compete with the new organization Elite Rodeo Athletes.
