One of my favorite stories to write was “Cowhands of the CA,” published in the January 2010 issue of Western Horseman. While outfits in Montana face a diminishing supply of experienced cowboys, the historic CA Ranch continues to operate because of the long-standing dedication of four seasoned day-workers.
